Golden Valley

If I could give zero stars I would . I had one of the worst experiences of my life at Valvoline in Golden Valley. I went in for a routine oil change on my Toyota Highlander and left believing everything had been done correctly. While driving home on the freeway, my vehicle suddenly began making an extremely loud noise and would not accelerate. I had to pull over and shut the car off. It was terrifying, and I can’t stop thinking about what could have happened if my three children had been in the car with me. When I brought the vehicle back, I was finally told that their employee had put the wrong oil in my vehicle. I was furious that I had not been informed before leaving the shop. They corrected the oil, but after what happened, I understandably wanted documentation. I asked multiple times for a copy of the incident report and was ignored. When I finally spoke with the manager, Ace i wanted the incident report emailed to me in case my car did this again something I could have for the record, instead of listening to my concerns, he repeatedly interrupted me and said, “Did we not fix the issue? What more do you want?” When I told him I would be leaving an online review to share my experience, he responded, “Go ahead and write your little review to shit talk our workers.” I was completely taken aback. I wasn’t looking for an argument—I wanted accountability and to make sure other customers knew what happened to me. Mistakes can happen, but when a mistake puts someone’s safety at risk, customers deserve honesty, accountability, and respect. I will never return to this location, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend it to anyone. Please be careful about trusting this location with your vehicle.
