I know enough about cars to do my own changes, but am 86 years old. This didn't matter to anyone, and they respected my age--along with some extra knowledge that impressed me. The manager was a woman, and recently featured in a local magazine which mentions women in business. She not only knew how to run the business, she also knew the trades and was getting into a few details my GM Envoy needed, and solved them mostly on her own. I respect any manager who is in the pits working with fellow workers, bot men and women. No false promises and no upsell pressures. I especially liked that. Choices were outlined in writing--clearly. As a former OSHA inspector in Chicago, I know when a business is on the ball. They were.
