I have been coming to Valvoline at this specific locations for years now with multiple vehicles. The customer service is not the same anymore. The turnover with employees it seems like the new workers are less motivated and just doesn’t do a good job. They used to do a full light check with breaks and signals, check your tire pressure and top off your fluids without even asking. The last couple times they didn’t even do it. This most recent visit I had to ask them to check my tire pressure and fluids and they still didn’t specify with me if they did it or not. They checked my engine filter and I got it replaced but I asked the tech to check my cabin filter and he seemed like he didn’t want to do and said it only needs to be changed once a year. I told him it’s been over a year, he agreed to check it and I also paid to get a new cabin filter and engine cleaning fluid. I don’t know if it’s just the Maplewood location that has gone downhill or Valvoline all together but I am a loyal customer and I would hate to have to find a new shop to get my oil changed.
