The staff always notice that I have a VW when I line up for service. That prompts them to double-check that they have the proper oil and filter for my vehicle. One thing I will note as an opportunity for corporate is to stop the practice of lowering the mileage for synthetic oil. The sticker that is printed shows 3,000 miles for the next change. This is manipulative as synthetic oil lasts between 7,500 - 10,000+ miles. I understand the practice, but it makes the business look a bit shady. VW recommends synthetic oil changes every 7,500 - 10,000 miles. This is something you should think about.
