Very disappointed experience-issue still not resolved. Went in for oil change and tire rotation.During service, a lug nut stud was broken. Manager told me the stud was faulty and instructed me to take my vehicle to dealership to have them repair under my warranty. But if it wasn’t covered he would take responsibility. Dealership said it wasn’t covered and based on the appearance of the damage it looked like the stud had been over-torqued. I have several times reached out to Valvoline who then instructed me to contact their mechanic, who will not begin work until paid up front. He contacted Valvoline’s manager and told him this. A claim was filed and I was told a district manager would be calling me back and here now a week since damage no response. I now have an appointment scheduled with a mechanic and cost quoted as $180. I hope Valvoline will take responsibility for this and reimburse me for repair cost. Based on how this situation has been handled so far, I cannot recommend this location.

Suggested I bring my vehicle to dealership to have them repair and if repair was not covered under warranty they would take responsibility. After dealership said it wasn't covered not under warranty and said Valvoline over-torqued stud and they are responsible. I have several times contacted management at Valvoline and they then said to contact their mechanic and set up appointment but mechanic said he would get in contact with their manager and said he wanted payment up front. I called Valvoline again and was told a claim was filed and district manager would contact me. A week now and no response. I finally called another mechanic and have scheduled service for next week but he quoted me a price of &180. I can only hope Valvoline will take responsibility for this and reimburse me for repair cost. Based on how this situation has been handled so far, I cannot recommend this location
