Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I came in for an oil change and left needing an alignment for my car. Someone either turned a bolt they weren't supposed to turn (it took them a minute to figure out whether it was an electric steering rack or pump-driven, which is not difficult) or the ramp they had me pull up on damaged my alignment somehow—I'm going with the former. We've had that Scion xB for a long time and never needed an alignment. Literally right after that oil change, my alignment was ruined, and apparently it's not their fault. I can't figure out how it could be my fault, given that I never once needed an alignment for this car leading up to this oil change. In fact, I was always amazed that an old car like a Scion xB could go 13 years without needing one. I used to be amazed that after 13 years, that car would drive so straight, and that thought was in my head until LITERALLY RIGHT AFTER THIS OIL CHANGE.... It's a 13-year-old car that never once needed an alignment, and RIGHT AFTER THIS OIL CHANGE (I didn't even make it out of the parking lot), I could tell something was wrong. I've been coming to Valvoline for a long time for my cars. This claim denial is a joke, and their customer service should be ashamed. They're losing a lifelong customer over a $115 alignment cost that I had to eat FOR THEIR MISTAKE. I don't need the money; I just want what's mine, and that $115 was mine. From here on out, all my family will cease to go to any Valvoline for anything. I just can't understand the thought process behind denying a claim like this. I've been around a long time, and I've never once filed a claim like this for anything, ever, and im 40 years old. It's a gamble taking your car here, take it to an actual well respected mechanic (or DIY) instead of gambling with these jokers.
