I recently visited the Valvoline location in Oakville for an oil change on my 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid. Before the service, my car had no unusual noises or issues. Immediately after the oil change, I noticed a clicking sound when releasing the accelerator at low speeds. When I returned, they admitted that some bolts underneath the car were missing and reinstalled them. However, the noise persisted. I contacted customer service and was told a manager would take care of the situation. When I went back, I was not properly assisted, did not meet the manager, and was ultimately told nothing was wrong with the car. I have since had the vehicle checked elsewhere, and the noise has been confirmed as not normal. At this point, the issue remains unresolved. This experience has been very disappointing. I believe there is a lack of consistency in service quality at this location, and better training and accountability are needed. I hope Valvoline takes this feedback seriously and follows up to resolve the issue properly.
