I requested the 'cross' pattern of tire rotation, and even gave them a copy of the page from my car's owners manual to show how it should be done, but, as I was watching them do the rotation, they were doing it wrong. This is the way tires should always be rotated to insure even wear, but they seemed puzzled by it. I think part of the problem is that you teach them to just move fronts to back and backs to front on same side of car, but that is not correct. You should move fronts to back on same side, but then cross sides of car when moving backs to front. If you do this, then every 4 rotations, every tire will have been on each of the 4 wheel positions of the car. But, bottom line, if I request it done this way and even give them a diagram of it, I should expect that it be done correctly, and it wasn't. I had brought my other car in before this and didn't have a chance to watch them carefully, so I think they probably did do that one wrong. Not happy. If you're going to offer a service and charge the prices you do, you should do it correctly.
