Forced my hood closed with the support rod still in place. Threw a fit when asked for a refund.
I came in for an inspection. My hood is not held up by hydraulics, but by a single metal rod that swings up to hold it open.
I stood in the window and watched as this genius forgot to put the rod down and just forced the hood closed, bending the rod very badly.
I told him what happened and it took two employees to figure out how to get it unstuck and kind of straightened back out. They claimed it was "fixed" and threw a huge tantrum, slamming stuff around in the office, when I asked for my $30 inspection fee back.
Super unprofessional, no idea what they are doing. I'll follow up with corporate.

Hello,
I am disappointed with my recent experience at Valvoline in Charlotte, NC. I was waiting in line correctly, but an employee asked me to give up my place so another customer, who was his acquaintance, could go first. This felt unfair and unprofessional. I decided not to use the service and left. I hope Valvoline addresses this to prevent similar situations.
