2.0 out of 5.0

I went in for an inspection. I have been to this same location multiple years for inspection. This time, the service person who started my inspection while my car was still outside the garage came to me after a few minutes and said I was going to fail the inspection because of my windshield wipers, and I either had to buy new ones or pay for a failed inspection; they had not even hooked up the scanner to my car yet. I told him that it was the first time that I heard wipers could be an issue and also the first time an inspection station was going to charge for a failed inspection. I asked for the manager, who came and checked the wipers and said they were actually fine and told the same person to finish the inspection. The person refused, and so did a few others, so they delayed my inspection even after they pulled my car into the bay. Finally, a Hispanic employee who was there took over and did the inspection; I passed and was able to leave. It felt like the first rep was trying to bully me into buying wipers, and the attitude of most of the staff was dismissive and rude. Not going back to Valvoline for any more work. I would recommend others find a better place as well.
