I went to Valvoline today for an oil change and left pretty disappointed. The technicians seemed rushed and careless compared to previous visits. They left the oil filter and drain plug area covered in fresh oil instead of cleaning everything properly after the service, and they even forgot to reset the oil change interval. What surprised me even more is that they skipped basic checks they used to do every visit — tire pressure, lights, and a quick inspection. I’ve been a returning customer for a while and even tipped the staff in the past because the service normally felt professional and thorough. I’ve also never had any oil leaks or spots in my driveway before, and now after today’s service I’m noticing a few drops. Hopefully it’s just leftover oil that wasn’t cleaned off properly, but that should not happen after a routine oil change. With so many oil change shops competing for customers, attention to detail and customer care matter. If the quality keeps dropping like this, they’ll definitely lose loyal customers.
