I came in for an oil change on March 29th. I noticed my car was pulled out of the bay and parked at the edge of the lot. I went inside and questioned if they were done with the oil change. An employee double-checked with another employee and he said yes. He replied that they were working fast today. I went to pay the bill and retrieved my keys. After getting the receipt, I went to get into my car to leave. When I started the car, a lot of smoke came out. I attempted to put the car in reverse to back up and saw more smoke. I put the car back in Park and observed two thick streams of white smoke coming out of both of the exhaust pipes. I turned the car off and got a technician. He said he would check. One of the techs and the manager checked the car they determined that oil was put into the car by two different people which meant it had received double the amount. They decided to pull my car to the side of the building to drain it out with a machine. While the car was being drained of oil. The manager also informed me that he thought they drained my transmission too. Once they said they drained the oil back out my car would not start. It was towed to the dealership on April 01 2024.

One of the first things I mentioned to the tech who was about to start on my car what that "between the two of us, please help me remember to reset the oil service indicator light before I drive away." I didn't check it before I left and sure enough several miles down the road the light came back on. I didn't have the time to go back. While there, I asked if he checked my batter strength and he did admit that he didn't, although he had checked the box on my receipt that indicated he did. He said he didn't know how and called the manager over to do it. Manager couldn't get it done either. They, somewhat nicely, recommended stopping by an auto parts store, that they'll do it for free. While I clearly saw that they changed the oil and filter, my whole experience made me wonder if they checked another other fluids, tires, etc... I think the tech was new -- he seemed hesitant and not confident. My previous visit they were all very friendly (more so than the other VIOC in Monroe), so that's why I came back. They weren't as friendly this time. Maybe some additional training.

I recently bought my car from the Nissan dealership up the road from this branch. I love their sales department staff, but the service staff is the worst. For a routine oil change, I was quoted over $900.00. Never again. I will return to this branch every time. I am very afraid of driving over the big service opening, so the staff took care of it for me, and were very friendly and courteous. I appreciate their professionalism and their high-quality service.
