I’ll start with I’ve been using this location for ~15 years. I’ve always had exceptional service. I had very poor experience on 3-30-26. The topside guy spilled oil everywhere in the engine bay. I understand accidents happen. Just before that, the guy at the computer told bottom side guy that the torque spec was 30. I thought he was referring to NM (supposed to be 25). The service took forever (obviously training a new hire). After about another 15 minutes, the guy at the computer said, I meant to say (torque spec) 18. I expressed a concern about how I would know the if he stripped the oil drain plug or not especially since I knew it would smoke a lot as oil was all over (and I mean all over as I could see it dripping from my raised hood while I was sitting in drivers seat). The manager Daniel heard my concerns and said he was sorry all this happened and he would reach out to regional guy and refund the cost of my service. I felt that was reasonable and left. I stopped back by the shop and spoke to Daniel again about a month later and he said he would take care of it. I still haven’t heard anything from anyone there as of 5-27-26. I didn’t want to right a bad review but I’m very disappointed and won’t be back. I would beware as this location seems to be slipping in their quality of service. I’m happy to update this review if I ever hear anything from them.

This is the second time I have had my oil changed at Vavoline off Six Forks. All the staff are super friendly, courteous, and professional. They not only changed my oil but Keondre and Maurice changed my headlight bulbs as well and did a great job. I highly recommend this location to any one needing an oil change, a car serviced, or inspection. Despite always being super busy they move fast and do great work.
