The younger guys that were working seemed to care more about talking amongst themselves or another customer that pulled in before me in a chevy truck. The staff taking my information did not type my name correctly nor enter the mileage that I told him. The one under the hood showed me the oil level once complete and walked off leaving the hood open. After about 10 minutes I asked someone else what the hold up was. I wasted 10 minutes waiting for someone to close the hood and tell me I could leave. It felt more of a place to hang out and talk than a place of business with the staff working. Numerous customers came by to get an inspection and were denied this service. Thsi has happened to me as well in Jan/Feb of 2024. Do not offer a service if you cannot provide the service.

Our car did not pass inspection which we later discovered was a loose air hose to the engine. My husband was able to tighten it himself. I believe that easy fix should have been caught. Then when I went back to have it reinspected, there was a 2 hour wait. I asked if I could go to another Valvoline and was told yes. When I drove to another one, I was told I had to go back to the one that inspected our car. I arrived back at the wake forest Valvoline at 4:10 with 3 cars in front. They wouldn’t take me even though I was assured it was only a 5 minute process. Now I have to go back yet again tomorrow. I’m not satisfied with the run around and time I wasted.

The reason I’m highly dissatisfied is because they did not reset my maintenance light and they did not put the stick to hold the hood up back properly so when I got home and had to go out again I heard a terrible rattling sound and it scared me to death. My husband looked and fixed it for me. I feel very annoyed and inconvenienced.
