This Valvoline experience was A NIGHTMARE. After waiting 10 minutes, your staff told me they didn’t have my oil filter and that I’d need to buy it from Auto-Zone. When I asked which filter to get, your ASM shrugged it off, saying Auto-Zone would know and I’d get the price difference deducted. The filter cost me $18, which would’ve been $10 at Valvoline. The ASM was clueless and said he couldn’t do much besides not charging me for their filter.Before getting into the service bay a 2nd time, a used motor oil truck arrived, blocking my bay and causing me to lose my spot. Your ASM eventually offered 15% off my total (excluding the filter), but this didn’t offset the filter cost difference or the collective inconveniences.I emphasized my dissatisfaction and asked for an additional $5-$10 off, which was refused due to “corporate policy” and the manager’s day off. When they asked again how to make it right, I reiterated my request for a fair discount. They refused again, showing they care more about $5-$10; they did not offer any other remedy. They changed my oil, but I will never return to this Valvoline and am seriously considering switching to another company for better service.
