I've had my oil changed here for a few years and was always satisfied with their professionalism and service but today was told my transmission was leaking and my oil filter threads were stripped. At the time I didnt think anything of it, but if the threads are stripped, its probably valvoline's fault. They were the only place i had my oil change for atleast the last 3 years. Last time I was there I had my transmission fluids changed so why was there no leak till now? I'm not saying that's their fault but now I cant be sure of their work quality anymore. The car is from 2008 and has over 100k miles but now I'd be worried taking newer cars here if they are causing damage. They were pretty busy and seemed to not have had any breaks when I got there. There were 3 cars infront of me and total wait time to being done was about an hr.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We appreciate you reaching out and understand how concerning it can be to discover a transmission leak. Since your service was performed a few years ago, our ability to determine whether the current issue is related to that visit is limited. We recommend having the vehicle inspected by a qualified technician to accurately identify the source of the leak and determine the next appropriate steps.
