There was an open bay when I pulled up so I was able to get right in. An attendant immediately started my service and I was finished within 5-10 minutes. She was very transparent about the pricing of different oil types. The only thing I was surprised by was the price of the cabin air filter, but it really needed to be changed so I had them do it.

The employees at this particular Valvoline Oil Change location are always friendly, helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. They've always also been very quick to finish my oil change, and also if I ever have to wait, its not too long. My questions are always politely answered and I feel I'm taken seriously by the employees if I have a problem or question. I've had my oil changed at many many other places, and had lots of problems. When I discovered Valvoline Oil Change, and especially this location, I've been loyal ever since and feel confident that my car is getting the best oil change and good value for my money.

The upselling of other services was out of control. The service rep. did not have any knowledge of my vehicles service requirements and just added other suggested services to my visit. I've been to this location several times over the past several years and this visit was very disappointing, Staff also spent more time talking to each other than taking care of business, It was so bad that the assist mgr had to tell them to stop "in front of company". Unfortunately when I went to get the free car wash, the tech that was there to help said to me " you did it all wrong" and again tried to upsell me on a monthly car wash. So sorry to see this happen to this location. It was convenient for me to use.

I received exceptional service from Assistant Manager Christine and her crew. Christine was thorough, knowledgeable, and honest and is an asset to your company- I often dread having my car serviced but her and her team made me feel right at home. She was clear about how the services she proposed would benefit the longevity of my car but never made me feel pressured to make additional purchases. She provided intermediate solutions for some of the bigger jobs I need to have done on my car and in turn gave me peace of mind on the road. I will be back to your Lodi location to see Christine and the gang for my next oil change (Corey and another gentleman whose name I didn't catch- tall with curly brown hair). Valvoline should employ more women, Christine is a shining example of that!
