I have been going to this location for a few years now and it has been fine till today. ( 1-26-2026 ) 12 noonish)
I have a toyota camry. The technician said for full synthetic it would be 100. I say ok then show him a coupon for 25. A few minutes later he shows me my old "oil filter housing "and says I need to replace it for 50 ?? It appears fine I see no cracks or damage ? He then says if I don't you risk blowing your engine yet he NEVER explained what was wrong with the old one ?? (I wish I would have saved it) I was rattled a bit by the hard sell and agreed reluctantly.
I then get the reminder sticker and it says come back in 3k miles ?? I told him I have done my full synthetic every 5k miles for the past 10 years and I am almost positive that's what toyota says ??!! He avoided a straight answer and ground guided me out.

Very disappointing experience. This Valvoline location sent me back twice because they couldn’t confirm the correct oil type and filter type. After that, they kept me waiting for over an hour, only to finally tell me they don’t have the right tools to change the oil filter.
I went to another Valvoline branch right after, located at pecos Rd & Wigwam pkwy and they completed the oil change quickly and without any issues.
This was the worst Valvoline experience I’ve ever had—poor communication, wasted time, and lack of basic equipment. I would not recommend this location at all.
