I’ve been a valvoline customer for years. I feel stupid for never noticing before, the company policy is to put 3,000 miles on your next oil change sticker even if you purchase synthetic oil. So I thought I was saving money by being able to go longer in between oil changes when in actuality I was needlessly spending more money on expensive oil without the benefits. I feel that this is a deceptive practice and I want to be able to trust the company that does work on my vehicle. Today is the last time I will ever spend my money at a valvoline again.
While getting serviced today, the guy checking me in was so worried / annoyed about getting my Groupon discount approved he did it immediately, forgetting to check my lights, blinkers and fluids. He left after and never saw him again. No receipt, no new sticker. I left and had to turn around and go back to get a new sticker. That is when I noticed the mileage discrepancies.
