I took my partner's car in for an oil change before a road trip, and we had several issues with the service. Before we even got out of Ohio, the oil change light came on, forcing us to pull over and check the vehicle during the first hour of our trip. While checking things over, I also noticed that 2 of the 4 valve stem caps on her brand-new tires were missing. The remaining 2 caps were the wrong size and did not match the vehicle. The car had all 4 correct valve stem caps when I brought it in, so something clearly happened while the vehicle was being serviced. I attempted to call the shop but could not reach a person because the phone system routes callers through AI. As a result, I had to wait until I returned to town to address the issue in person. To the manager's credit, he reset the oil change light and replaced the missing valve stem caps. However, those were problems that should not have existed in the first place. An oil change should be routine maintenance, and instead it created unnecessary stress during a road trip and left me questioning the quality of the work performed. Based on this experience, we won't be returning and would not trust this shop with our vehicles again.
