Was told my battery was on its last leg. Asked how much it would be after Iu2019ve already spend $130 on an oil change and new filter. I was told it would be $140. With hesitation I agreed because I didnu2019t want to have anxiety over my battery going out (single mom on one income) I agreed to the new battery. The total ended up being $200.00 for the battery. I was nervous because I didnu2019t have $200 on my card/ I told the employee that I canu2019t pay that, I just agreed to the first price (140.00) she brought it down to $180. This is the 2nd time something along these lines has happened with Valvoline. I know you all have a business to run, but some of us need every penny we have in order to live in the house/apartment we have our kids in. The service was good but I donu2019t think Iu2019ll be using Valvoline again. Seems like itu2019s only good for causing anxiety-filled purchases.
