My car's brake fluid (low) light came today. I went to Valvoline since I always take my car there to get the oil changed and they have a policy of topping off the fluids for free. The Oregon Valvoline says they check the brake fluid on their website and Valvoline's corporate website says they do brake line flushes as well. Well, I was told by the technician in Oregon that they don't top off brake fluid and that they didn't even have any in their facility at all. If you do brake flushes, then you have brake fluid. I would have paid for the fluid, but the technician didn't even ask. I had been sitting in line from 12:20 p.m. until about 1:45 p.m. I don't like to be lied to and will never, ever, ever go to the Valvoline on Oregon Road again. But, I usually go to the Valvoline on Telegraph (they just got an award) and will be going back to them.
