Will never go to another valvoline again after. First we get there and they don’t have my oil filter and said I’d have to go to O’Reillys to get one. Got that came back and then after a few minutes under the car comes back and says the plug is stripped.
Was told that they tightened it the best they could and to call customer service number so they could fix it.
We do that and the customer rep is horrible and kept trying to get me to call the valvoline that did it last. He said he was escalating the case to urgent and that someone would call me to get it fixed so we could drive it home as we’re traveling and 400 miles from home.
No one from valvoline ever called me again.
About an hour later we go to get something to eat, came back out after 30 mins and there’s a dinner plate sized puddle of oil under the car. So I knew we couldn’t drive it back home
Found a mechanic on our own who got us in and all they had to do was insert a new drain plug and it tightened up fine.
Horrible experience and like I said , will never go to another valvoline ever again.
