I very specifically requests the Valvoline Asian Vehicle Red coolant, which is what is recommended for my specific style of Tundra, and was reassured by multiple technicians and the manager that they had the appropriate coolant. Instead they put in the generic multi-vehicle coolant. I am very disappointed and will have to pay even more to go to the dealership and correct this situation. I feel there is a difference between “comparable with” for short term use and “formulated for” when it comes to coolant flush.
