I pulled into Valvoline this morning, rang the bell, and waited to be directed into the open service bay, as they don't always use both bays. The employees clearly saw me but made absolutely no effort to acknowledge me or direct me where to go.
While I was waiting, two vehicles pulled in behind me. After waiting briefly, they simply drove around me and pulled directly into the open bay that i had been waiting to be directed in to. I watched 1 get completely serviced and finished and I had been there first. With another vehicle that arrived after them it was apparent that they were going to be serviced before I was, despite the fact that I had been there first. I was stuck behind a car getting a full service front to back. Had I been acknowledged, They wouldn't have wasted my time this morning. I ended up leaving.
The complete lack of awareness, communication, and basic customer service was incredibly frustrating. It's not difficult to acknowledge a waiting customer or let them know what's going on. I shouldn't have to sit there and watch multiple vehicles arrive after me and receive service before me simply because the employees couldn't be bothered to communicate or direct traffic.
Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. A little courtesy and basic customer service would go a long way. 👎
