I showed up to Valvoline a little after 3:00pm on my way to work to get a tail light/ blinker bulb changed. They were able to do it quickly. The gentleman who was checking and topping off my fluids showed me my dip stick and wasn’t forceful, but made it clear I should probably consider getting an oil change and he was absolutely right as my miles matched the sticker due date precisely. While changing the oil, something went wrong with the oil filter? I think. I’m not mechanically savvy, but he showed me the part and it made complete sense towards why I can’t drive the car without this part operating correctly. He apologized profusely and said they were trying to call around to get a new part (which is difficult because it’s a Volkswagen ) as I’ve learned over the years of owning a German engineered vehicle. They went to get a new part in Moon Twp. and it was broken. No big deal. They drove to get the same part in Mt. Lebanon at Advanced Auto and the internet was down so they wouldn’t sell them the part. So they tried for the third time at a different Advanced auto and it was a success! Needless to say everybody was so nice the whole time, caring and apologetic. Stuff happens! During the wait I actually went to Aldis to get groceries and they offered to store my grocery bag in the break room fridge! I’d like to thank Jeremy and the other mechanics I don’t have the names of along with the awesome manager who compensated me graciously today. She was fantastic! What a good team you have 😊

I’ve been to this Valvoline location a few times and they always do a great job! I haven’t had to wait long and they really get you in and out in about 15 minutes. They always offer additional products, but it doesn’t feel like pressure to purchase them, just suggestions.

Oil was profusely leaking after the oil change done by Valvoline in Robinson Township and radiator flush resulted in a radiator replacement with leaking coolant sooner than needed. Valvoline in Robinson cracked the housing on the oil filter. It was never leaking oil prior to the oil change. Service records from Jeep dealerships confirmed it. Mechanic at the repair shop I used confirmed it as well. Still no support or compensation. It cost over $1000 to have the oil housing repaired. Went back to see the manager, and they told me to take it to a transmission specialist. Filed a claim with Valvoline. No compensation at all. Horrible customer service experience with Noah.
