Valvoline Aberdeen SD has lost our 3 vehicles business. On Wed New Years eve 2025 I took my work vehicle in for service. On Friday when I returned to work my transmission failed. I had to have it towed to Kirks auto repair the following week where he discovered a pinhole was poked into the transmission cooling line and leaked. A new employee, an older women close to my age was working on my vehicle and I was curious where she got her training as I thought I would like to take the same training. I was inspired that someone near my age and gender could do that. I was interrupted by the man taking info to input in the computer. She seemed to take offense and said "oh I just learned things here and there throughout my life". My mechanic said that pinhole was suspicious especially right after service there. I had to pay $400 for the towing and $1,100 for the repair. That vindictive employee who took offense and damaged my vehicle has lost our three vehicle business and the business of everyone I tell my story to. If someone in service takes offense especially not intended it still does not warrant damaging someone's vehicle. We can never trust Valvoline again because of her.
