I’ve always had friendly team members help me. However I’ve had multiple small minor issues after oils changes in the past for example the oil cap being left off or screws left off of skid plate etc. I keep coming back to this same location because they are nice. This last time was not a great experience. After leaving with a routine oil change my car was smoking and sputtering and barely made it back to the location to be looked at. After the assistant manager (who was very helpful and kind) looked at it, he realized that my oil had been overfilled and he said someone did not drain the old oil before adding the new oil. The resolution was to drain everything and re do the oil change. However I’m highly concerned my cars engine is now had damage because I drove a couple of miles with the large amount of overfilled oil. I’ll be contacting you if I beging having engine issues because this is not okay. An oil change is a routine thing and something as little as draining old oil should not get forgotten. My car that has less than 60k miles could be ruined. Although Matt was helpful, I’ll be reluctant to ever have valvoline take care of my car again.

When I pulled up I was the 7th car in line. Staff(Manager) came straight out and greeted me. I watched the entire group huste and get everyone taken care of. James was very engaging and explained everything quickly but in detail. I use this location often and this is the first time I'd seen James. The staff seem to work quickly and seemed happy. Difference this time was that the manager seen to be working as hard as the staff. I appreciated seeing that and imagine the staff appreciates it too.

The oil change took a while with the addition of adding a fuel treatment, replacing wipers and the light above my license plate. To replace the light, the mechanic had to remove the panel in the rear of my van. Then the automatic closure for my rear door wouldn’t work after that. When I went to turn on vehicle afterward, it would not start. This van had ZERO issues before I pulled into the bay and now it won’t even start?!? I explained I’m from out of town and was just trying to maintain my vehicle while on a road trip. There was zero help after that. Even the manager said there was nothing they could do. But I still had to pay a $200 oil change bill?!?! They pushed me out of the bay and left me there. I was still waiting for a tow truck when they closed up shop and all left, without asking if I’d like to use the bathroom or anything. It was the most horrendous experience ever that ended up costing me thousands at Firestone just to find out my oil was overfilled by nearly two quarts and I’d have to pay for a whole new oil change from them because they could not just drain it and, of course, Valvoline was now closed.
