I have hood pins in my car that you use to get the hood open, and the arm that holds my hood up goes into the fabric on the interior of my hood (it’s an older car.) The guy who was working insisted on closing my hood for me (ceaser) even though i got out and opened it for the people working.
When he closed my hood he didnt put the arm back up into where it’s supposed to sit, he closed my hood with extreme force while the arm was still down over my engine. - It wasn’t closing correctly so he slammed it repeatedly and put his whole body weight down on it multiple times.
Since he was trying to close it so forcefully and the arm was over my radiator he knocked the radiator out of place and disconnected a line that went into my engine. I had to pull over and do maintenance on my car after my visit.
Valvoline is a pit crew company and I know countless race cars with hood pins similar to mine, I think that it’s ridiculous that a racing car maintenance company cant even figure out how hood pins work - even at least well enough to not damage my vehicle during a simple oil change.
I don’t ever want to do business with you again. Also staff didn’t check to see if my lights worked or anything.
