I was hit with both a temporary surcharge and an extra oil surcharge at the end when clearly I should've been told upfront that these surcharges (totaling $18) would apply. Also, I purchased synthetic oil (ow20 maxlife) which should get me 5k to 7.5k mile, and yet, the next oil-change sticker indicates only 3k mile in 3 months. Finally, I now see that coupons were available, and yet, the manager did not tell me. This place does not conduct business in an ethical manner!
Valvoline Instant Oil Change
Hi Christian, we appreciate you reaching out. Due to the current volatility in the oil market, Valvoline Instant Oil Change has implemented a temporary surcharge on all oil change services at U.S. company stores. We’re committed to staying transparent and delivering the same quick, easy, trusted service you expect from us. We'd like to confirm you were only charged $4.85 for the surcharge fee; the additional $13.26 was for the extra oil because your vehicle requires more than 5 qts of oil. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact our Customer Care Team at 800-327-8242, and one of our agents will be happy to help.
