Not a good experience. Customer care and management refused to take responsibility for damage caused during an oil change.
Two days after having my oil changed here, my car went into mechanical failure. I had it evaluated by Nissan, where it was diagnosed that the oil filter had been installed incorrectly, causing the issue. Nissan repaired the problem and provided documentation of their findings.
I contacted Valvoline customer care multiple times (spoke with approximately 12 representatives). The local manager ultimately agreed only to refund the cost of the oil change, despite the dealership confirming the cause of the failure.
I was also told I should have had the vehicle towed back to Valvoline instead of taking it to Nissan, which I did not feel comfortable doing given the circumstances.
Based on this experience, I will only be taking my car to the dealership going forward. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision. Diagnostics report attached
