I went in for an oil change and inquired about a A/C System recharge as my A/C was working cool but not cold. I was assured they would be able to complete the service in about and hour and a half. The process was never explained to me. After waiting in their waiting room for about 45 minutes, the young man working on my car came in and said they would not be able to complete my service because their machine detected a leak. Not a problem until I got in my car and left, went across the street to run another errand and discovered I no longer had ANY A/C and there was a loud noise coming from under my dash. I went back and talked with the same young man, let him know of the issues and asked if they had by chance discharged all the freon from my system and and he told me "no". He listened to the noise under the dash and then went to talk with the manager. The manager told him there was nothing they could do because they didn't charge me for the service. The manager would not even come over to my vehicle to talk with me. In further talking with the first man, I found out he was actually the assistant manager. As an assistant manager you would think he would know what he was doing when preforming a service. I did have to take my vehicle to a repair shop, who told me they had indeed discharged all the freon from my vehicle and the noise I was hearing was due to the system no longer having freon running through it. If these people are not properly trained they should not be allowed to work on customers vehicles. I will not be going back to this location as this is the second time I have had an issue and had to go back after a service. My oil change prior to this one, my husband discovered oil in my driveway under my car, I went back and the tech in the pit said they had not tightened the filter properly when changing the oil. The manager on duty tried to tell me I ran over something and loosened it, which was not the case. I would have to say service is extremely poor when management blatantly lies to not take responsibility for their employees actions.
