The only service performed was the Texas State Inspection. Although the inspection was done efficiently, the paperwork was incorrectly processed. I have had this problem before and it persisted again this year. The service person MUST identify the car by the VIN rather than the state license plate number. Plates can be moved to different cars, but VINs are permanent. More than once with this car and others, I have had to ask for them to do the paperwork again because they have entered the car information by the license plate number rather than the VIN. This invalidates the application for a new, renewed registration sticker. Somewhere in the store computer they work by car license plate numbers and those are not necessarily accurate for a given car if the plate has been moved to another car within the family. This has happened in multiple years and I have to correct it with the facility every year. I wish they could get it right the first time. The service person was fine and made the correction, but is prolonged the whole activity.

From the moment I drive into the bay to the moment I drove out was about 40 minutes. Pregnant, sitting in the hot bay for 40 minutes is not fun. My tire pressure was not checked, no safety checks, just a really long oil change. I go here for the convenience and thoroughness that Vanvoline usually provides. Today missed the mark and I may not be back.

More knowledge, I had to show them where my oil filter was. They were careless and shoved my oil dipstick back in which bent it. Due to the lack of experience, I left feeling very uncomfortable that they did the oil change correctly. I can only hope they did not cross thread my oil filter.
