I had an full synthetic oil change on a vehicle I don't drive that often. 10 days after my visit I drive the vehicle 2 miles roundtrip and as soon as I return and park the car in my garage, I notice an oil streak down my driveway, and after looking under my car a huge puddle of oil. I called my mechanic and said not to drive it and have it towed to him, which I did. Upon inspection the oil filter had not been secured tight and I had lost an significant amount oil. Had I driven the car on a longer trip, I would have lost all of the oil and ruined my engine. I called the local number, which automatically goes to a corporate location and explained my dilemma, I was transferred to the claims department and was told I would be contacted back from the local location in 1-2 days. It has now been 8 days and not a word from Valvoline. You hear these horror stories about oil change shops and never expected it to happen to me. Very disappointed in Valvoline.
