I went ahead with the transmission flush this time. When done, I was driving home and immediately heard a bad noise. Something was not properly put back, so I went back to Valvoline the same day. Turns out, they removed the bottom cover to my engine but then improperly put it back which resulted in bolts being completely lost and a piece broken off of the cover. I did not appreciate that at first they told me I must have done something wrong, considering I knew my car did not sound like this previously. My service was already $300, they did give me a discount but not before they broke the bottom cover to my literal engine.

I’ve been going to this Valvoline for years on Gaston and always had exceptional service. My last visit was on April 4th prior to that I had went in on 3/18 for an oil change. This is when I got my oil changed and also got air filters changed both inside filter as well. Well in April after my last visit for my vehicle registration a few days later, not too long, my car had stopped on me on the freeway! Due to the lack of paying attention of employees, with Valvoline being the only people to check my hood at that time and had no maintenance whatsoever at all from anyone my mechanic which is a very very good trustworthy family friend ended up telling me that my filter case top was not closed properly, one of my fans for my A/C was disconnected from the battery and when he checked the oil filter at the very bottom of my car it was filled with oil did not look new which is something Valvoline should have replaced. Will NEVER be going back to Valvoline! And who knows if the oil change filter has been replaced each time I would go for a new oil change.
