Went to valvoline today to get my daughter’s car an oil change. She drives a mini cooper. Upon arrival I pull in the bay and the guy there tells me that they can’t change the oil filter. They said it’s too difficult and basically out of scope. He said all they could do is change the oil. I refused and told them that’s not a proper oil change. He agreed so I left and went across the street to jiffy Lube. I didn’t ask them about the oil change I just pulled up and they took the car into the bay and got to work. When the assistant manager started going over everything I asked if he could change the oil filter and he said of course. He then took me out to show me that it could be changed out. He pulled it out with along with the O-ring. I was kinda suprised so I took a picture. I don’t know if the guys at valvoline are just too inexperienced or lazy but I’ll be bringing my 4 cars and company truck to jiffy moving forward.
