The tech I interacted with was also the shift manager (or some kind of leadership role), as I watched him on a prior visit. He was a pro's pro, broke everything down for me to make it as simple as possible, showed me what filters looked like and what he recommended while not making me feel the least bit pressured into anything I didn't want. He, as well as his staff, made this visit quick and easy.

I came to get an oil change and the very nice young man started checking and to my pleasant surprise told me that I didn't need an oil change. He showed me the dipstick and said the oil was clean and an oil change was not necessary as I had full synthetic and could go more than 3000 miles. I made a note to come back at the mileage he recommended. I am very pleased. I have used this location for quite a few years..

I arrived with a vehicle running perfectly, quietly. Infiniti QX 60 When I left the Valvoline location, the vehicle began roaring on even slight acceleration I suspect the staff hit a wiring harness while changing the oil and knocked off sensor harness somewhere. The Mechanic has the vehicle determining what they hit and knocked off. You'll be hearing from me, following the return of the vehicle I will forward the charges to Valvoline via Counsel. They were an arrogant group and unfriendly there and had very few words other than the one guy with the sales pitch, which are the only words he offered. I suspect this may have even been deliberate what happened to the vehicle. That would be unfortunate if it was deliberate and they do it to multiple customers. Could they possibly have been unhappy with ownership, or management?
