1.0 out of 5.0

I came to Valvoline for a routine oil change on May 15, 2026. The next morning, my engine failed, the dipstick was completely dry, and there was oil covering the underside of my car. I immediately opened a claim and had the vehicle towed to Valvoline. I repeatedly instructed them not to change the oil or perform any work because the vehicle needed to be properly inspected. They did it anyway. A Valvoline manager later admitted that a gasket had broken during my original service and caused the oil to drain out. They changed the oil and filter without my authorization, moved the vehicle to another shop, and additional work was performed without my authorization. I later documented approximately 20 miles driven while the vehicle was in their custody. After weeks of dealing with this, Valvoline ultimately denied responsibility. I came in for an oil change. Instead, I ended up with a failed engine, unauthorized work, transportation expenses, and weeks of trying to get answers. I would not trust this location with my vehicle again.
