new place tells me that my battery is bad I called and was told I have to go to the location first so y’all can look at the battery and I need to go back to the place that I bought it because the place I bought it at should eat the cost of the warranty, the original place that I went to is over an hour away from my house! I get to the Valvoline and Keller it’s and then tell me that they don’t have the battery they Send me over to the Valvoline on beach where I go to get the battery exchanged and they have misplaced the tool that takes the connectors off the battery. It was almost 100° outside and I sat in that garage for over an hour and a half while they fought to try to get the battery off , they finally ended up using a screwdriver and a hammer and banging it which then left a hole in the lining of my car I kept having to ask them what’s going on they’re the ones who told me that they couldn’t find the tool that they needed My clothes were soaked from sitting in the heat for an hour and a half. I kept having to get in and out of my car and go stand outside just to get some type of breeze because it was so hot.

Initially showed up @ 7:45 for 8am opening for state inspection but was told that Inspector would not be in until 10am. I left and returned at 9:45 and there was already 1 car in front of me. Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes later my inspection was done and I was able to leave. The guy doing inspections definitely wasn't in a hurry and would disappear for every so often which just slowed things down even more. By the time I left there were cars all the way around the building and back out one of the service exits. Additionally this isn't the first time I've had issues with Inspections at this Valvoline location or the one in Grapevine where they rarely ever have an Inspector. Needless to say, I'll will take my business elsewhere from now on!

The oil change took longer than expected ( I see that the standard changed to "about" 15 minutes), techs didn't know if a battery check had been done or if my car had a differential, my air filter wasn't checked, and oil was dropped on my engine and hood. The tech was wiping oil off of everyone's hood because he was closing the hoods with oil on his gloves. When I got home, I had an oil spot in my garage from oil not being cleaned off.
