I wish I would have known what was a part of my service. For example, I needed a state inspection. I was unaware emissions testing was a part of that service or I would have used my coupon. I wish the staff would have mentioned what they were doing during the inspection so I would know my coupon was be valid during this service.

The service was fast (no waiting) and generally ok. My biggest complaint was when looking at invoice, it showed my tire air pressure as checked-OK, and both front and rear as 35 (psi). But: 1) they didn’t actually check the tire pressure (even through there was 4 techs milling about working on it), and 2) when I checked it myself (after pulling into parking lot afterwards), all 4 tires were actually at 32 psi. (Which is actual, correct recommended air pressure). To tech’s credit; when asked him about it, they did acknowledge not actually checking pressures, and did offer to do it before I pulled out; but if I hadn’t have asked, then how would I have known? Or what if it had been my wife or mother who came in trusting ‘y’all to actually do what the receipt said you did? I also had a state inspection at the same time, so how did it pass with no check? Also - receipt says reset the engine oil indicator light; nope. Bottom line - y’all should rethink about what the full service actually does/means, and also revisit what your invoicing software prints as default.

My daughter was getting her oil changed in front of me and they could not find where to plug in sensor in a 22 bronco sport. Long story short she had to take hers elsewhere where they were more knowledgeable

As a woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I was offered a few injection cleaning for $140 and I called my husband and had him talk to the gentleman who was helping me.After discussing it, my husband told me not get it so I declined. I did agree to an air filter and air compartment filter. I was not told that the price of the filters but in hindsight, I definitely should’ve asked. Play Later that afternoon my husband looked at th invoice and was really upset to find that they charged me $54.99 for the air compartment filter. He called the next day and spoke to someone at the Valvoline who told him that was just the price that you charge for that particular filter. My husband explained that while he understood the markup on the air filter which was $25.99 , he said it doesn’t make sense to me that something that you can get on Amazon for $16 you’re going to charge a person $54.99 for. The woman, my husband spoke with said she would not give him a refund of any amount but did offer a $25 off coupon for the next oil change which is worthless because we will never visit Valvoline again.
