I came in on a Saturday to get an oil change and it was busy but not too bad and the technicians were nice. Although, right after I started it up and it was idling really rough but I kinda thought maybe it would subside, so left to go get gas and shopping a bit. On my way home though I started noticing that my car was lagging and not accelerating like normal. I was almost halfway home when I started noticing huge clouds of dark smoke clouds behind me and surrounding me so that’s when I turned around and headed back to the shop, luckily they were empty. I told them what happened and they did get right to work finding and fixing the problem; the problem being that they put the wrong caliber oil in during my oil change. So, thank God I came back in when I did.
They did fix the problem but I don’t believe I properly compensated for all the trouble and possible damage to my vehicle. I atleast should’ve been refunded for the oil change and offered a complementary free oil change in the future…but what I got was 20% off my next oil change. I just didn’t want to argue because I was exhausted. Thankful they found the problem and fixed it, but definitely disappointed that I wasn’t properly compensated and I used to love taking my car here.

This place is worthless. I’ve been turned away twice now for an inspection. Both times were in the evening, well before close (at least 45 minutes), when there was ONE car being worked on at the time. Ridiculous.

I had an oil change done at another Valvoline location about 8 months ago, and of course, they made me buy a new battery because according to them I needed it.
It turns out the battery I bought doesn’t work anymore, I took it to Autozone to double check and they put it to charge for half of day and didn’t charge.
I went to this Valvoline location because it’s the closest one to my house to claim my warranty on the battery and immediately they said they didn’t have this particular battery size (battery for a 2022 F-150, nothing out of the ordinary), so they recommend me to go to another location, when I asked if they could check for me in the system a location that had the battery so I didn’t have to waste time driving to multiple locations they said were too busy at the moment so they asked me to personally call the other places.
It’s just so AMAZING that the Valvoline team that’s so worry about the costumers and so happy to help when it comes to make you buy something, doesn’t really care about you when it comes to deal with warranties related to the products they sold you.
