Went for oil change, oil filter change and diesel filters changed.
Got home and oil was dripping steadily out of oil filter. It was obviously wiped down previously (new filter was smeared with oil on exterior) so they knew it was leaking some amount during the service and they didn't take the time to see what the actual issue was.
Luckily I live close (made a giant mess in my driveway) and was able to return before I leaked out all the oil.
They discovered a gasket from the previous filter didn't come out when they removed it and installed new one on top of it. Again, the guys working on it would have seen an issue and some oil leaking (should be none!)
When i got back they quickly jumped all over it but when done, and trying to hurry me along I had to remind them to up the oil (was down almost a quart!). I proceeded to park in their lot and run engine to be sure no further leaks.
I've used all sorts of quick oil change places without issue (heard plenty of horror stories), this is the first time I've had one mess up. This could have been very bad and expensive!
While they were apologetic and fixed it fast, all they offered for their screw up was another $20 off couponthe ones they give out to everyone haha
