Valvoline Instant Oil Change

If I could give 10 stars I would. Amazing service super fast and friendly and very knowledgeable. Best thing they took their time and got everything done right to get me back on the road safe. Thank you so much I truly appreciate it and will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

Greeted by staff while waiting, staff were all friendly and cheerful, no pressure to buy other services, information given on recommended services, good price for services received.

I visited the Burien WA location on Saturday 1/31/2026 at about 10:30am for an oil change and fuel filter replacement. I was just told they don’t do fuel filters. A couple days later I had to call and talk to a rep to find out they don’t do fuel system work on VW diesels at all. So they DO perform that work, but not on my kind of car, which was not explained. I drove the car home after the oil change and parked it for the next 2 days until I took it directly to my mechanic on Monday 2/2. Next, because Valvoline wouldn’t do the fuel filter, I took my car to a certified VW specialist to have that work done.They cannot believe I recently had my oil changed by Valvoline and what a mess it was under the car with fresh oil. It was all over the undercarriage and saturated the pan under the car. I have result pictures of the way Burien Valvoline handled my vehicle, which is sub par. So ultimately, the visit to the Burien Valvoline is costing me more time and money. I had them perform routine work on my vehicle, and it was not executed properly at all. Also, while I was waiting for the oil change to complete, I overheard two Valvoline associates comment on “Volkswagen owners” in a very derisive manner. (Yes, I had the only VW at the location at the time) I don’t appreciate this kind of treatment. If associates have their opinion on customer vehicles and who drives what, it is in Valvoline’s best interest they keep it to themselves.
