Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Great service!

I recently discovered significant quality issues with the service at this Valvoline location, and unfortunately, I only found out because I had to replace the alternator on my truck myself. When I opened the hood, I found oil residue and handprints in multiple areas that were never wiped down after service. The undercarriage was even worse and oil was dripping onto the new oil filter and the bottom frame of the truck. I've included images showing exactly what I found. This is basic cleanup that should be standard after any oil change, and it was completely neglected. What concerns me most is the lack of transparency. During my visit, I overheard one technician ask another if they had completed something on my truck. I couldn't hear the full conversation, so I asked the technician, Garrett, directly if everything was good. He told me yes. Clearly, that wasn't the case. Rather than being honest with me, he chose to avoid the conversation entirely. When I called the location to address this, they offered to have me come back so they could wipe down the oil that wasn't cleaned up the first time. While I appreciate the gesture, that misses the point. If they're cutting corners on the small, visible details, it makes me question what else may have been overlooked, not just this time, but during previous visits as well. I will not be returning to this location. If a shop can't be trusted to do the little things right, I'm not comfortable trusting them with anything more significant. I'd encourage others to be cautious and inspect their vehicles carefully after service here.
