2018 Ford Focus The oil change itself was fine. That was the only service I actually came to receive. When I arrived I was asked if I also wanted my air filter changed, to which I agreed. After the techs spent a few minutes attempting to pull my glove box out they stopped, and did some research to identify where the air filter on my vehicle actually was. Turns out, on a 2018 Ford Focus, the air filter is along the bottom of the center console on the passenger side, away from the glove box. It requires a Torx screwdriver to access. I was then told that they would be unable to complete the air filter replacement as they don't have the tools to complete the job. I needed my filter changed, so I said I would still purchase the filter itself and replace it on my own. I was then charged the $59.99 for the service (they did give me a $6.00 discount). So I paid $53.99 for an air filter. Then, I was asked if I wanted my transmission fluid changed. I know I needed this done, so I agreed. Within about 30 seconds of my agreement to the service the Tech said "Sorry, we don't actually carry the transmission fluid for your vehicle." Thankfully, I didn't have to pay for the third service I didn't receive. The $6.00 I received as a discount for the $59.99 air filter I bought was actually only a $1.15 discount after I received a $4.85 "Temporary Surcharge" on my receipt. I rated this visit a 0 and will not recommend this Valvoline to friends and family.
