Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I had such an incredible experience at this Valvoline location on Gear Street in Vancouver, WA, that I just have to share! From the moment I arrived, William greeted me with kindness and a smile. He immediately looked into replacing my lightbulbs and made sure the cost was as minimal as possible. He even checked in during the process, and at one point was singing, which honestly helped put me at ease. Next, Danielle (Lead Technician) was absolutely wonderful. She was informative without being pushy, explained everything clearly, and even changed my son’s older vehicle lightbulbs for me. I already had the bulbs but didn’t know how to install them, and she took the time (and it did take time!) and did it for a very reasonable fee. She also went the extra mile by searching online and helping me find a better coupon on their website, saving me even more money, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. Javier wrapped up my visit and again, was extremely kind, thorough, and not pushy at all. Everyone communicated respectfully and honestly, which I really appreciated as someone who doesn’t always know what I’m looking at under the hood. Let me also say this: over the last year I’ve been to multiple Valvoline locations in the area and was honestly ready to give up on the company entirely due to mistakes and oversights at other stores (loose caps, missing caps, oil everywhere… just a mess). I was hesitant to even go again, but the positive reviews for this location convinced me to try one more time and I am SO glad I did! Every single review about the customer service here is TRUE. I even made sure to call out and personally thank the manager, Adrian, for having such a wonderful team and such high standards. As a single woman, it can sometimes feel intimidating or like you’re being taken advantage of in car situations. Here, I felt heard, supported, respected, and genuinely helped not upsold. I will absolutely continue coming to THIS location from now on, as long as this wonderful team is here. Thank you all so much for your kindness, knowledge, and efficiency. In a world that feels heavy sometimes, it was such a gift to experience genuine kindness and care. 🌟🙏 *Also dog friendly* Highly, highly recommend!

Sitting here because they drained the oil before realizing they don't have the filter. Update - they overfilled the oil and had to take some out.

I am impressed and only spoke to someone briefly over the phone. The person was nice and gave helpful suggestions. I will visit to experience the services when its time for service.
