I came to get my oil changed and I had a 50% coupon that I showed the person who was helping me that I wanted to use at the end of the transaction. I went to use the coupon and they told me it was a coupon that didn’t work for the type of oil change I got so I wasn’t able to use the coupon which is the only reason I even went to Valvoline in the first place to get my oil changed. It was really frustrating because I had purposely shown them the coupon before I got my oil changed to ensure that I was able to use it. In my opinion, they should’ve honored it regardless, because it was their mistake. But the manager had no empathy for the situation and did not even offer to make it right. I definitely won’t be going back to Valvoline for my oil changes in the future.
