I was asked if I wanted the $76.99 oil change which I said yes and I had a $25 off coupon and they still charged me $70.91?? He said cuz it takes .7 qt more..:so thats how they scam you

Like EVERYTHING this story has some good and some bad. (Service done in Eau Claire, WI)
1. The AI automated service Valvoline uses is completely USELESS!!!! Not only did it not answer any questions I had, also not get me to a human technician, and NOT send the coupon it said it would.. it HUNG UP -disconnected the call twice before I finally called back a 3rd time and was somehow able to get through to a service representative.
because of this initial experience I almost went somewhere completely different. However I am glad I stuck with it.
Because the service I was met with IN PERSON was the best I've had. Specifically Tyler (from the Wausau branch) was a delight! He not only was the one to take my call and made me feel SO heard he also took time when I arrived to:
1. Make sure all my service was done well and correctly
2. Took REAL NOTES on my complaint with the AI system
3. Was just an overall lovely human being.
I would come back 10 times over if I knew I had that kind of customer care each time!
Also truly to "send it home" (I am addressing Valvoline directly rn) stop using your AI automated phone service. It is trash and is loosing you customers.

The technicians were awesome.
The service is the only reason I come here.
As long as I have a coupon and it has to be a large coupon then it makes the oil change comparable to what I pay elsewhere. Filters are crazy priced. Your costs is why I give 4 stars.
