Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Everything was quick. I received a new sticker. No problems with my coupon. Although I declined, I was showed and asked about a new air filter. I felt comfortable that they were confident in the job they were doing. Happy they took notice to the nitrogen I have in my tires.

The entire crew were friendly and helpful throughout the service process. Knowledgeable about they were doing and offering / suggesting other services they could provide on ones I either was overdue for, was coming up on and that just are good practice type things.

The literal worst place to get an oil change. There have been multiple instances where myself or my boyfriend have gone when we have had a bad experience. Here’s a couple examples; I went to get my oil changed and they told me that my battery was about to die and they didn’t even know how my car was still running and me being freaked out so i took it to my dads shop and had it tested and it was completely fine and it’s still in my car working fine and it’s been almost 2 years. Another example; took my boyfriend’s car in to get an oil change before we went camping and they tested the battery and said it was completely healthy and great, we go on our trip and the second night his battery died. Seems like they don’t actually test your battery and just make a guess. Last example; happened today, my boyfriend goes in for an oil change and the tech he gets (named Armando) yells at him for not putting synthetic oil and is very demeaning and making him feel like an idiot and when the other tech pulls out the dip stick he breaks it. When my boyfriend asks if there going to replace it Armando says no and that it wasn’t there fault that it broke and that it was a mouse that chewed through it. He then continues to tell the other tech to not touch his car anymore and to wash his hands because there’s a bunch of mouse poop under the hood. when my boyfriend came home i looked under the hood and there is absolutely no mouse poop and i think he was just trying to cover themselves and not take blame (which seems like a common theme at this valvoline) So all in all i would recommend just changing your oil by yourself instead of trusting their shady techs. Absolutely terrible place
