Main Street Waukesha

I am extremely disappointed with how Valvoline has handled my experience. Within seconds of leaving this facility after paying approximately $130 for an oil change and windshield wipers, my 2014 Ford Escape suddenly lost acceleration. I was barely able to get the vehicle to Griffin Ford nearby. I contacted Valvoline and was told someone would come inspect the vehicle. After receiving no callback for TWO DAYS, Griffin Ford had to contact Valvoline to get someone out to look at it. During the initial inspection, the employee Chase said the oil-change-related work looked good. However, I was not satisfied with how the situation was being handled and had to push for Valvoline to take another look. During the second inspection, two screws that were supposed to secure my air filter were found not to be screwed in. This was particularly concerning because Valvoline had removed my air filter during the oil change and then put it back. Although I cannot say with certainty that this caused my vehicle’s loss of acceleration, finding these screws unsecured after the service raised legitimate concerns that deserved to be taken seriously. Griffin Ford subsequently test-drove my vehicle, and it drove normally. Thankfully, no repairs were needed, but that does not change the stress and frustration of having my vehicle suddenly lose acceleration immediately after an oil change. Rather than offering a refund for the original service, Valvoline offered me a 50% off coupon for a future visit. I have since emailed requesting a resolution and have waited five days without receiving a response. I expected better communication, accountability, and customer service. I am still requesting a refund for the original oil change and a meaningful response to my concerns. Would love if someone would reach out to me. I’ve tried to contact you via email twice.

Always quick and fast Chase does a great job
