Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I go to the Valvoline stores because they're quick. I pulled right into a bay on a Sunday afternoon and I was out the door all done within 20 minutes. Exactly what I needed

Nikolette was so kind, explained everything thoroughly and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t truly need. It was my first time coming here and she made me feel completely comfortable. I’ll definitely be back next time I need an oil change!

I’ve had three oil changes at the Valvoline at Val Vista & Pecos Rd. Two times there were error incidents. My first visit also included a new battery installation. The technician was trying to work so fast that as he tightened the positive terminal onto the post, the plastic terminal cover couldn’t fully swing over the post. This is nothing serious, just sloppy work. On my third oil change, I noticed that the engine oil extraction device for the vehicle next to me was overflowing with oil. I had to call it to their attention because they were too busy working fast. The next day, I noticed that my air conditioning wasn’t cooling. That’s unusual; the cooling usually recedes gradually. My fear is that the technician MAY HAVE banged up against something while moving quickly from task to task. I don’t know but I don’t want to take chances with my car. So, I won’t be going back. Too bad; they’re close to home too. They offer quality accessories and lubricants, which is good but I don’t believe that employees who are working too fast can provide good customer service. To me Valvoline wants to provide good customer service but I think what they’re actually doing is increasing their sales per hour. Invoice 111130 11/17/25
